along with this spree of wins my lovely art teacher also proposed my photos for the Japanese visitors from Okinawa as gifts from the school.O_O pretty much souvenirs from Australia…
that was quite something. hehe and i had to half present it to them when they arrived that day.
here are the pics they chose to give.
ended up being framed even haha!

these were one of the first shots that got me into my camera. Before that it was just a piece of Sony in the house, but once i got a hold (borrow) of this lense/filter i got inspired from the beautiful pictures it was taking.
SO that got me going with the HSC of 2006. My visual arts major work was once a never-accomplishable idea of a silly space animation, i could tell the my art teacher weren’t too keen on the idea because it was the first one done without a paintbrush. So that in itself – leaving behind the traditional and going into the digital was quite a new thing.
I never really believed in myself in completing this major piece anyway, so i was waiting for a miracle..and then this lense came along and saved my HSC=]
I suddenly had this photographer in me that wanted to just shoot things non-stop. So i did.
Art teachers drooled and collapsed (kidding) over my pieces of photos, and said “if you aren’t thinking of putting this in as your major work, then …..”
I knew the rest of that sentence…so i immediately changed my WHOLE major work, from something unimaginably do-able, to something already pretty much.DONE. I was weighing the possibilities carefully….
LOL my talking is getting a bit too much..time for some photos=]
My high school ended liking my major work that much that they rented it for 12months…for $200 O_O
They wanted it to be hung in the office foyer for the guests to see^^
